Joining the official Champion’s Ascension Discord server is mandatory for all participants.The Discord server will be used for:Tournament announcements
Match scheduling
Bracket updates
Rule clarifications
Communication with moderators and opponentsFailure to NOT join or the server may result in removal from the tournament, as important updates and communication will take place there throughout the event. If you sign up to the tournament, you will get a link at the end of the sign up sheet to the server!

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION:Tournament Start Date: July 18th
Timezone: EST (Eastern Standard Time)
Participation: Open worldwide — all skill levels are welcome!
Format: Competitive bracket tournament
Match Style: Best 2 out of 3

MAIN TOURNAMENT FORMATAll matches leading up to the Semi-Finals will be played in Singles format.
Semi-Finals and Finals will switch to Doubles format.
Please make sure you prepare accordingly for both formats before the tournament begins.

TEAM RULESWhen facing an opponent:
- You must select 6 Pokémon before the set begins.
- Those same 6 Pokémon must remain your available roster for the entirety of that Best 2 out of 3 set.
- You may swap which Pokémon you bring into each battle from those chosen 6, but you may NOT change the roster itself until the full set is completed.
Example:
- Match 1: Bring Pokémon A, B, C.
- Match 2: You may switch to D, E, F
However, the original pool of 6 chosen Pokémon cannot be changed mid-set.
Once your set against that opponent is over, you are free to:
- Change teams
- Build entirely new teams
- Swap Pokémon freely before your next opponent

STREAMING & CONDUCTTournament matches will be streamed on Twitch with co-hosts/commentary.
Participants are NOT required to:
o Speak on stream
o Join voice chat
o Show facecam
o Appear publicly in any way beyond gameplay
Only gameplay may be featured during broadcasts.

STREAM SNIPING POLICYStream Sniping Policy
Stream sniping is strictly prohibited.
Any participant found:
- watching streams to gain competitive advantage,
- receiving outside information from viewers,
- or intentionally abusing stream delay/live information
will face:
❌ Immediate Disqualification (DQ)
No warnings will be given for confirmed stream sniping.

SPORTSMASHIP & CONDUCT
All participants are expected to:
- Treat opponents respectfully
- Avoid harassment, toxicity, or cheating
- Follow organizer and moderator instructions
- Maintain fair play throughout the event
Unsportsmanlike behavior may result in warnings or removal from the tournament depending on severity.

MATCH SCHEDULING
- Players are expected to communicate with opponents in a timely manner.
- Failure to respond or repeated delays may result in forfeits at moderator discretion.
- Please be mindful that this tournament operates primarily on EST scheduling.

FINAL NOTE: Champion’s Ascension is meant to be a fun, competitive experience for everyone involved — whether you’re a seasoned battler or stepping into your first tournament.
